My work has been selected for inclusion in an exhibit of Contemporary American Realism which will travel to 5 major museums in China in 2012-2013. Six-City National Tour of Contemporary Realism. The grand opening of the Contemporary American Realism painting exhibition took place at the Beijing World Art Museum on September 14, 2012. This exhibition is the largest-ever exhibition of contemporary American realist paintings in China. The subject matter includes portraits, still lifes and landscapes, showing a range of styles and artistic viewpoints within Realism today.

naked-icon-for-moniMy painting, “Music and Poetry,” has been included in this gorgeous (and sometimes provocative) anthology of American art of the nude: “Naked: The Nude in America,” by Bram Dijkstra, Rizzoli 2010
“With more than 420 illustrations, Naked is the most thorough and wide-reaching survey of the representation of the male and female nude in American visual culture yet published.”

My painting “Music and Poetry” is featured in the beautiful new coffee table book. “Forbidden Fruit: A History of Women and Books in Art“, by Christiane Inmann, Prestel 2009. This volume is a gorgeous and interesting compilation for every reader.

My painting “Pandora,” is featured in “The Figure: Painting, Drawing, and Sculpture Contemporary Perspectives,” by Margaret McCann, Skira Rizzoli, 2015. This book features outstanding examples of contemporary figurative art by established and emerging artists, underscoring the art of the figure’s enduring appeal and the pedagogy of the New York Academy of Art.
