Greetings from San Francisco,
We welcome Spring to the gallery with a breath-taking array of accomplished works by "Five Women", namely: Juliette Aristides, Sarah Lamb, Kate Lehman, Dorothy Morgan, and Patricia Watwood. They have each shown with the gallery individually through the years - and this exhibition marks our personal tribute to these professional painters who have reached that universally acclaimed level. The exhibition, and all of the works by the artists, can be seen on the web site at this address.

All of us who work closely with artists and witness first-hand the extra toils and consuming nurturing that goes along with being a female artist, marvel even more at the works these women have been able to create in the time allotted. Picture these masterworks being imagined and then realized with children afoot and a household to run. My heartfelt thanks and congratulations go out to these five women. Brava!
And Patty Watwood, originally from the Midwest but now in Brooklyn, creates epic works with a painterly view that encompasses a myriad of subject matter. Her colors are warm and inviting; her subjects engage the viewer on a personal level.
